EL-AFWEIN (Somalilandsun) – Women participation in Development activities is directly related to achievements garnered in the Country.
This was stated by the Somaliland first lady Amina Sh Mohamed Jirde ‘Amina Weris’ after lengthily discussions with mothers in El-Afwein town of Sanaag region.
Amina Weris who was accompanied by finance minister Zamzam Abdi Aden at the meeting in El-Afwein where she also donated caps and female clothing adorned with colours of the country.
The first lady who is in Sanaag region as part of the official presidential entourage currently visiting the eastern regions also promised to intensify Gender based issues not only in El-Afwein but nationwide as well
