Somalilandsun:The head of the federal government in Somalia, Mohamed Abdillahi Mohamed, Farmaajo, took a photo with convicted war criminal, Col.Yusuf Abdi Ali, “Tuke”.

Colonel Tuke was found guilty of torture at a Virginia Court earlier this year and is facing deportation from the United States of America. The verdict came as a result of a case brought against the colonel by victims from Gabiley, Somaliland. These horrendous tortures took place in the late 1980’s at the height of the civil war.
The Colonel has previously been deported from Canada for lying in his asylum application. He moved to the United States in 2006 and was working as a security guard at Dulles International airport, before being fired from that position after a documentary by the Canadian Broadcasting Corp. CBC, was aired depicting the allegations of torture against the former Somali military officer.
Subsequently, Yusuf Abdi Ali, aka “Tuke” was working as a driver for Uber and lfyt, but was fired from both companies after another documentary by CNN and his eventual conviction of torture at a court in the state of Virginia.
The court in Virginia found, Yusuf Abdi Ali, aka “Tuke” guilty of torture and actual bodily harm. He was ordered to pay $500.000 in compensation to his accusers.

The photo was taken at a ceremony to open the new Somali embassy in Washington, DC. Our sources confirm that the federal government in Somalia gave the security contract, worth at least $82.000 per annum, to the convicted torturer who is currently facing deportation proceedings from the United States of America.
