Somalilandsun – The President H.E. Ahmed Mohammed Mohamud has fulfilled his promises hence established the three top-most priority pledges he gave Wajaale residents during his campaigns in the last presidential elections.

This fact was testified by the deputy administrator for the district Mr. Mursal Noah Osman during a briefing to Dawan newspaper reporter Khadar Abdi revealing that the establishment of a modern hospital, tarmacking of the Wajaalel- Kalabaid highway and the availability of clean running tapped water were the main three agendas prioritized by the President to be in his itinerary for the local social-public services of the area.

He said that, indeed, as true to his words he made the fetes realized at last in the President’s first tenure.

“At least over 90% of the pledges have been fulfilled and the remainder is about to be completed”, said the administrator.

He said that the hospital was already up in place together with the roads.

He said that the town has also acquired a new stadium which is named ‘Silanyo Stadium’ in honour and tribute to the President and that local market stalls has been rehabilitated. Both, he said, were courtesy of the finance ministry.

He was happy that the hospital was in operations for the past five months and that it was well equipped with appliances, medicinal drugs and staffers.

Among realized pledges by President Silanyo was an asphalt road connecting Wajale and the Somaliland capital hargeisaHe thanked the finance minister for availing sustenance allowance to the staffers who were not salaried or in the public service payroll.

The administrator was equally happy that many of the town’s streets had their roads upgraded.

Mr. Mursal said that the town’s plan was focused to beautification by planting trees and flowers in the near future.
