Somalilandsun -The first kidney donor Somalilander, Asma Sheikh Adam Haji Mohamoud Hiray has returned home fit as fiddle after making an enormous sacrifice to help save her dad’s life.

Sheikh Adan Haji Mohamoud Hiray better known as Sheikh Adam Siiro a well-known religious cleric and businessman is recovering well in a hospital in Kuala Lampur, Malaysia and soon will return home fit as fiddle.
Asma, the daughter of a well-known religious cleric and businessman Sheikh Adan Haji Mohamoud Hiray better known as Sheikh Adam Siiro donated a much-needed kidney to her father after she just happened to be a perfect match for the transplant.
The Cleric, who was suffering from a chronic kidney disease, underwent a kidney transplant surgery last month in a hospital in Kula Lampur, Malaysia.
Asma Sheikh Adam who returned home today received a warm and emotional welcome by family members, friends as well as journalists upon her arrival at Hargeisa’s Egal International Airport.
Speaking to the journalists in the VIP lounge of Egal International Airport, the brave daughter of Sheikh Adam Siiro expressed her delight to save her father’s life by donating her right kidney.
Asma said that she refused to take no for an answer when her dad Sheikh Adam Siiro was taken ill and his kidney started to fail.
Asma also stated her dad is recovering well in a hospital in Kuala Lampur, Malaysia and soon will return home fit as fiddle.
