HARGEISA: (Somalilandsun) the spokesman of Waddani (US office), Mr. Mukhtar Mure was welcomed in the country by Waddani party senior members at the Egal international airport.
The spokesman speaking to the press in the airport lounge spoke of the (US) office progress and mission, he added that the office comprises a team of well educated and experienced people led by chairperson Muna Fidin, women party wing head, Hodan Abdillahi and youthful scholar Nassir Mohamud flanked by a dedicated personnel.
On the other hand the spokesman said that the upcoming general election needs not to be postponed and should be held in the designated time.
Said he’ Presidential elections conducted on time in an unrecognized country in the horn of Africa where insecurity is the norm will be a bonus in our search for sovereignty and also an honor if the incumbent President to stand by his pledged word that he will add not a minute in his appointed term’.
The spokesman who is a political affairs maverick is in the country to coordinate the party affairs in both Somaliland and abroad.
