Somalilandsun – In  a policy brief titled “Somalia Needs a Cogent Foreign Policy Agenda.” the Mogadishu-based Heritage Institute for Policy Studies argues that Somalia must carefully craft a foreign policy agenda anchored around the following principles: do no harm, independence, trade, and consensus building.

The brief mentions Somaliland on a paragraph that details on the Rapid Changes in the Horn of Africa more so as pertains the Gulf crisis and economic and military expansion of the United Arab Emirates in the region
