Somaliland: “Our Territorial Integrity is Sacred” National Leaders Tell the IC

HARGEISA (Somalilandsun) – The prevalent Security in the horn of Africa is imperative to the entire world and any activities that might change status should be avoided by all.
This was the concurrence of Somaliland national leaders meeting at the Hargeisa presidency where they also warned that the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the country is not to be trampled upon.
in attendance at the meeting chaired by president Ahmed Mahmud Silanyo were VP Sayli, leaders of the official national political parties of Kulmiye, UCID and Wadani Muse Bihi, Eng Feisal Ali Warabe and Abdirahman Irro who wore his dual cap including that of speaker of Somaliland parliament, deputy speaker Bashe, chair of Guurti Suleiman Aden and Several cabinet ministers.
The leaders whose meeting pertained to a show of united support to ongoing military activities in the East of the country warned the international community against issuing partial stamens in which it, IC, terms the eastern areas of East Sanaag and Sool as disputed.
The leaders who said that the nation shall neither ask permission from anyone to establish military bases in any part of the country also informed that the Somaliland administration shall not entertain orders disguised as requests to remove its army from anywhere.
“WE WISH TO LIVE IN PEACE WITH OUR NIEGHBOURS AND THE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY BUT THIS SHALL NOT BE AT THE EXPENSES OF OUR SOVEREIGNTY OR TERRITORIAL INTERGRITY” Said president Silanyo
All the leaders were unanimous in their urgings to citizens both in the country and Diaspora’s unity of purpose and support to current activities by the government to secure all its areas.
The government recently dispatched its army to Hengalool and Taleeh districts in the east of the country where secessionists fronted by Puntland have been trying to establish a state dubbed Khatumo-seeq
