Hargeisa: (Somalilandsun) – In confidential information revealed to the press by Justice Department officials has claimed that the Minister of Justice Mr. Hussein Ahmed Aided and the Chief Justice Mr. Yusuf Ismael have disagreed on legal matters concerning deliberations of decision made by the Justice committee whose chairman is the chief Justice.

In a move that perplexed the chief judge a letter purportedly signed by him on behalf of other committee members was returned to him by the Justice Ministers who refused to put his signature on because it had not been signed by committee members. The Supreme Court boss refused to barge and stuck to his earlier decision.

It is understood that the disagreements have been conveyed to the President by both parties and they are waiting for an answer.

The bone of contention is believed to be appertaining to recommendations on judiciary issues whose details are still sketchy.
