HARGEISA (Somalilandsun) – Visitors to the ongoing Somaliland business fair are set to benefit from an innovative sales promotion deal

The Al-Nuur Furniture Company and Haboon-Deeq clothing company have entered into a sales promotion deal that will benefit customers until the end of the ongoing Business Fair at Mansoor Hotel in Hargeisa.

The sales promotion deal was announced by the Managing director of Al Nuur furniture company Mr. Abdirahman Mohamed Nuur during a joint press briefing held by the two companies at the fair’s venue late evening, where it was revealed that a purchase of any given set of Al Nuur products will be rewarded with a full dressing set of Haboon-Deeq products.

According Ms Haboon Deeq the proprietor of Haboon-Deeq clothing company, the deal which is the first of its kind between local trading companies is under consideration for extension even after the business fair, Said she, “The agreement with my brother Abdirahman of Al-Nuur furniture might be extended to benefit customers even after the fair”

This sales promotion deal that is unique in the country follows in the heels of other innovative customer satisfaction deals entered upon by the Al-Nuur furniture company which is currently leading in the local and regional supply of quality home, office, hospital etc. furnishings.

As per Haboon-Deeq which in its own is a leading centre for women clothing and beauty products the association with Al-Nuur will go a long way towards customer diversification thus cater for all pockets like Al-Nuur rather the prevalent status that sees the ladies fashion company attract upper class customers only.

Though the sales promotion strategy is superb it remains to be seen how Al-Nuur will reciprocate if the agreement is extended beyond the life of the ongoing 2nd Somaliland Business Fair-SBF. During the 1st SBF in December last year the Al Nuur furniture scooped the top SBF award best company from a pool of 135 local and foreign companies.

Al Nuur is reckoned with in the country as the RAGs to RICHIES company having started operations in 2001 with a meager $149 to the local giant it is today with coffers believed to be in the dollars hundreds of thousands and an agents operation that not only spans the entire country but neighbouring countries like Ethiopia, Djibouti, Puntland and Somalia as well.
