Somaliland: High Profile Delegation Represents Country at Bank of Djibouti Governor Burial.

HARGEISA (Somalilandsun) – senior officials are in Djibouti to represent the country at the burial of deceased central bank governor.

The president H.E Ahmed Mahmud has send condolences to government, people and the family of the deceased Central Bank of Djibouti Governor the late Jama Mahmud Hayd who passed away at a Nairobi hospital on the 11th January 2013.

The presidential condolences were conveyed by a high powered delegation that will also represent the country at the burial of the late Jama Hayd.

The delegation that jetted out of the country on an Ultimate air flight consists of the first lady Amina Mahmud Jirde, Ministers Hirsi Ali (presidency), Dr Mohamed A Omar (foreign affairs), Mahmud Hashi (aviation), Ms Zamzam Abdi (Education) and Abdiaziz Samale (finance).

Another dignitary on the same flight to attend the burial was Dr Edna Aden who is participating on her own capacity.

In his message of condolences that has been presented to the Djiboutian head of state Hon Ismail Omar Guelleh, Dr Silanyo said:

Quote- On my own behalf and that of the people of Somaliland, I hereby extend my sincerely felt condolences to the people of Djibouti and family of the governor of the Djibouti central bank governor late Jama Mahmud Hayd.

While praying to Allah for the succour of the soul of the deceased public servant I also ask his family and citizens of Djibouti to gain strengthen and faith during this difficult period of mourning.
