HARGEISA (Somalilandsun) – The First Lady Amina H. Mohamed Jirde embarked on a busy schedule in nation building chores immediately upon arrival from abroad on Friday.
The First Lady who showed no signs of jet-lag was equally not fatigued when she toured the Berbera stadium which is under construction, placed a foundation stone in a re-carpeting city road construction, hence at the same time touring the town’s electricity generation centre amongst several public institutions.
The First Lady Amina had just disembarked from a plane upon arrival from abroad. She has been away in the UK for a private visit. Said she, upon her arrival, “I am elated to be back in good health”.
She added that she was on the month-long private trip to visit her children in the UK.
She was received at Berbera airport by the Education Minister Hon. Zamzam Abdi Aden, the Regional Governor Mr. Mahmoud Ali Suleiman (Ramah) and the Town Mayor Cllr. Abdulla Mohammed Arab amongst several welcomers.
