SYL football team prepare to take on Soweto FC during the inaugural Buhodle ramadan tournament

BUHODLE (Somalilandsun) – Seven football teams are in competition for the crown of Buhodle Ramadan Cup champions.
The tournament that kicked-off at the Habado Stadium in Buhodle town where a large crowd of spectators was at hand to cheer competing teams saw Soweto and SYL football teams lock heads in a match that ended in a single goal scored by SYL.

The match winners of SYL is a team composed of youthful players under the sponsorship of Sahal Computers a locally based ICT college

Habada Stadium in Buhodle is the venue for all matches of the Ramadan cup tournament The tournament which is the maiden one in Buhodle is managed by the local branch of the Somaliland football association and sponsored by Golis Telecommunications Company.
According to the Somaliland health minister Dr Suleiman Isse Ahmed ‘Haglatosie’ who is originally from Buhodle and highest ranked government official from the area “Such activities like the Ramadan Cup tournament are not only good for the physique of our youths but are also very useful in deterring illegal immigration and sustaining peaceful co-existence”

The finals of the Buhodle Ramadan Cup are planned to coincide with Eid-ul-Fitr fest ivies that culminate the on-going one month of fasting.

Meanwhile the major irony of the Buhodle Ramadan cup tournament is the presence of the alleged minister of Social Services of the mythical Khatumo State Farah Adde Farah who official opened the tournament witnessed by a large crowd at the Habado stadium where he wished all competitors the best of luck.
