Somaliland: 471 Deaths Recorded in the Mediterranean from 19,567 Illegal Migrants Arriving in Europe

Somalilandsun-IOM reports that 19,567 migrants and refugees entered Europe by sea in 2017 through 8 March, over 80 percent arriving in Italy and the rest in Spain and Greece. This compares with 143,544 through the first 68 days of 2016.
