Humanitarian conditions in IDP camps in Mogadishu are dire

Somalilandsun – The spokesman of internally displaced persons in southern Somalia Isak Hassan Abdulle has accused WFP office in Mogadsihu for a lack of accountability

Isak says that the people in the camps are suffering from famine and a series of other conditions while the stores of the WFP are full of food .

“We don’t understand these people in Mogadishu, why do they stop providing the food , realise that we have many people suffering from famine “Said Isaq during an interview with Radio Dalsan.

The spokesman also made clear clear that the WFP sells the food in the market ,

“We sent our complaints to the international community WFP office in Nairobi including all concerns related to our issue and requested them to send a mission and investigators here “, added Isak.

WFP officials have been accused several times of looting the food.
