Somalilandsun – The Somalia Parliament has lost the chairman of its finance committee following an attack by yet to be identified assailants.
Gunmen shot and killed Sheikh Aden Mohamed today near his home in Hamar Weyne as reported by eye-Witnesses who told local press that the gunmen had been who had been waiting near the legislator’s home opened fire when he returned from the mosque after Friday prayers. The MP died on the spot.
No one has claimed the killing of the MP who is the 5th lawmaker killed in Mogadishu this year with his demise coming in the heels of that of Sado Ali Warsame , a prominent singer who became the first female Somalia MP to be assassinated by Al-Shabaab.
