BURAO (Somalilandsun) – In order to participate in the election of our chosen leaders registering as a voter is very important

This urging was made to resident s of Toghdeer region by the leader of Wadani party and its candidate for Somaliland president Abdirahman Mohamed Abdilahi "Irro" at Qoyye town in the outskirts of Burao where he addressed a large welcoming committee composed of party supporters and officials from the country's eastern region.

Abdirahman Irro who also doubles as the speaker of Somaliland parliament is leading a high level delegation to Toghdeer region where the national Election commission is registering voters an ongoing campaign that has already seen over 30,000 residents acquire voters cards so far

The Wadani party delegation though in the region presumably to encourage voter registration is also visiting in the heels of similar one by the leader and presidential hopeful of ruling Kulmiye party Muse Behi.

According to reports Irro who travelled to Toghdeer immediately upon return from a foreign trip is reported to be currently in Bali dig village near the border with Ethiopia where party officials' hosted residents to a sumptuous voter registration enticing lunch.
