Somalilandsun - Turkey is the only country on earth that recognizes the Turkish Cypriot Republic. I personally support Turkish stand on Cyprus for a single reason, because I firmly believe in self determination for all nations and I deem all the Peoples to have the right to be treated justly and fairly. I am not trying to be politically correct here and believe me, I am not a 60s hippie, who is idealistically listening to Bob Marley songs in a beach somewhere in the Caribbean Islands and smoking a joint. Far from that I am a Muslim, who prays five times a day and believes in all heavenly religious teachings of justice and peace.

Somalilandsun - In the last few months, the Somalia (ex-Italian Somalia) President went on nonstop international tours. The aim of his tour was not to seek food assistance for the millions that are starving few meters away from his luxurious palace in Mogadishu, he did not go on expensive world tour to ask the International community to build schools for the millions of school-age Somalia children that do not have the possibilities of going to schools, his expedition was not aimed to either seek the construction of a prosthetic legs' factory or the construction of hospitals for the hundreds of thousands of civil war amputees and others in dire need for healthcare in that anarchic country.

HARGEISA (Somalilandsun) - In its annual census of imprisoned harassment, detention journalists, Somaliland journalist Association SOLJA identified 81 individuals put behind bars since beginning of 2012, which is a dramatic increase over its 2011 tally.
