Somalilandsun-On Saturday, 16th December 2017, Sheikh Achmat Damon al-Qadiri al-Chishti and the ’Ibaad-u-RagmaanQadiriJamaa’ah will assist Islam by celebrating Milad al-Nabi at the Nur-ul-Islam Mosque in Brand Street, Bredasdorp. Completed during 2016, this is the southernmost mosque in Africa.
Muslims are organising the event so as to articulate joy at his birth and with the intention of showing gratitude to God for giving them Muhammad as their Prophet (May the Peace and Blessings of God be upon him).
One and all are welcome to attend.
Buses will depart for the Overberg from Kensington and Rylands Estate in the Cape Peninsula.
