As Neighbouing Somalia ejects Gulen institutions from Mogadishu in support of president Erdogan following the attempted coup in Turkey

Somalilandsun- The republic of Somaliland does not interfere with internal affairs of friendly or other countries.
This was stated by foreign minister Dr Saad Ali Shire during an interview with wargeyska Geeska Afrika in Hargeisa where he revealed that the operations of Nile Academy, a learning institution, in the country shall continue as usual despite alleged connection of its owner cleric Fethullah Gulen to the attempted military coup in Turkey.
Interest among citizens of Somaliland that elecited the Geeska Afrika query emanate from reports that Somalia Federal Government-SFG Authorities have bamned all Gulen institutions from operating in the Neighbouring country which is supportive of President Erdogan of Turkey who was the removal target during the coup in which over 200 died as thousands others are detained in massive retaliation by Ankara.
“Currently the Nile Academy continues to fulfill all conditions set by the Government and until such are contravened its operations are secure” said De Saad Ali Shire this putting Somaliland I. The opposite direction with its neighbour Somalia.

On the other hand Turkey and the USA are embroiled in a diplomatic tug of war after requests by Ankara to have Washington repatriate cleric Fetullah Gulen , the former ally of Erdogan, who is on a self imposed on exile in Pennyslavania from  where he is to have allegedly masterminded the failed coup.
Cleric Gulen and President Erdogan former Turkish political allies now turned bitter enemiesIn the meantime the president of Somaliland Ahmed Mahmud Silanyo is safely in Turkey where he is visiting on private matters accompanied by First Lady Amina Weris and his private secretary, having arrived in the country a few hours before the failed coup.
Though Turkey maintains a consulate in Hargeisa manned by its embassy in Mogadishu its relations with Somaliland are in Love Hate status as. Result of the bias shown by the administration in Ankara in Talks between Somalia and Somaliland that it hosts.
