HARGEISA (Somaliland sun) – Somaliland Diplomatic affairs in Kenya are to be handled by a new representatives.
This follows a decree issued by President Ahmed Mahmud Silanyo on 12/12/2015 appointing Abdilahi Abdi Ali ‘Dhakar’ as the Somaliland foreign representative in Kenya
Similarly the head of state appointed Rabi Abdi Mohamed as the country’s Ambassador at Large.
The two appointments that take effect immediately were made by the head of state in consultation with his Foreign Affairs Minister.
The naming of Abdilahi Dhakar and Rabi Abdi comes as replacement for their predecessors Ali Salan Jirde ‘Ali Shombe’ and Keisar Abdilahi who were recently appointed as minister of Planning and deputy Commerce minister respectively.
