Says the ex-president as he pledges to remain politically impartial during a luncheon hosted by opposition Wadani party

HARGEISA (Somalilandsun) – Every administration of Somaliland should been given credit for achievements during tenure at the helm of the country.
This urging was made by immediate former president Dahir Rayale Kahin during a party hosted in his honour by opposition party Wadani in Hargeisa where most participants were officials of the Rayale administration and UDUB party members.
Stating that his political ambition as a former president of Somaliland the country was dedication towards the wellbeing of the nation, Rayale revealed that he will remain impartial to political machinations thus only concentrate on issues geared towards a sustainable and prosperous nation.
Said he “I am going to be impartial and only work in situations with a positive impact on the nation” while stressing on the importance of giving past, current and future administrations credit for achievements garnered while in office.
Ex-president Dahir Rayale Kahin who is credit with institutionalizing the country’s democratization process returned last week from his second home in France where he resides since relinquishing office in mid-2010 to current holder Ahmed Mahmud Silanyo.
While acknowledging on existing internal disputes within the political divide Hon Rayale stressed on the importance of dialogue for reconciliation of which Somalilanders are reckoned with worldwide.
Among notables flanking Rayale at the Wadani luncheon included his VP Ahmed Yusuf Yasin, former VP to late Abdirahman Tuur the 1st President of re-independent Somaliland Aw Ali Farah, Wadani party leader and Speaker of parliament Abdirahman Irro, several ministers in the Rayale administration and various officials of the opposition party.
Gratitude’s on behalf of the invited guests were extended by traditional leader Sultan Ali Madar who thanked the Wadani party leader Abdirahman Irro for his thoughtfulness that led to the luncheon in honour of the Ex-president.
